Lessons
Lessons are held on a term by term basis and assessments are necessary for all new swimmers (please call the Swim School office to make a booking). Lessons are usually 8-10 weeks per term and fees must be paid in full when booking.

We also cater for babies (six months and older) and school groups. Swim caps, goggles and earplugs are available at reception. Holiday swim lessons are held between school terms – mornings only.

Private lessons
One-on-one private lessons are available to suit all ages and abilities. They are structured to meet individual needs and requirements. $35 per half hour lesson usually booked in blocks of 3 lessons or for a whole term.

Enrolment
Current clients get first preference to book into lessons. After the first week of registration, lessons are then opened up to new clients. Please call the Swim School office to find out the relevant dates.

Student Graduations
There are certain pre-requisites for any swimmers to achieve before they can be promoted from one level to the next. All students are assessed at the end of each term to see if they are promoted or remain in the same level.

Payment
Payment may be made at The Leisure Centre Swim School or at reception, by mail or by credit card over the telephone. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Eftpos, cash or fortnightly/monthly payments by Direct Debit.

Discounts apply to families with three or more children swimming.

Cancellation Policy
Please choose your lessons carefully as The Leisure Centre Swim School does not offer a refund if you change your mind. If however you are inconvenienced by unforeseen Leisure Centre operations, then you are entitled to a refund or credit.

If you cancel a booked space due to medical illness and you provide a medical certificate you are entitled to a credit.

Swimming Attire
Swim caps are compulsory (Kindy Kids upwards). Students without caps will not be allowed into their lesson. Swim caps are available for purchase from reception.

Goggles are a vital piece of equipment for Swim Lessons. We strongly encourage parents to fit caps and goggles before lessons start to make sure that our students can make the most of lesson time.

Appropriate swimwear is recommended as garments such as board shorts will certainly limit performance with the extra weight and drag.

For hygiene reasons all non toilet trained children must wear "Huggies Little Swimmers or similar.
